1. Participation

1.1 Line-up
A team has to consist at least of -6- players. The maximum allowed number of players is -12-. The line-up can be edited and has to be maintained during the entire season.

All cuts and signs of players must be reported in the relevant forum thread. The listed name in this official line-up thread is the obligatory name the player has to use in-game. Only the captain or co-captain is allowed to manage the line-up. If a player wants to leave his/her team, he is allowed to cut himself in the line-up thread.

1.2 Forum account
All players, who want to participate in the League FRH, must create a forum account in order to confirm their participation. Players without a forum account are not allowed to play official matches. The name of the forum account does not need to match with the listed line-up name.

2. League Proceedings

2.1 Matchdays

Sunday at 20:00 CET
Wednesday at 20:00 CET

Live stream: During the season several matches might be broadcasted via live stream. Streamed matches will be individually announced by the FRH Admin team and scheduled in time.

2.2 Game settings league
Modus: 4on4
Duration: 2 x 7 minutes (halftime: change sides)
Show room on list: no
Score limit: None
Stadium: Big

2.3 Game settings cup
The game settings in the cup are similar to the league settings, except the possible overtime. In case of a draw after the regular playing time, the "golden goal" rule applies. The teams change sides again, the score limit is set to -1- and the time limit to -5-. If no goal was scored within these -5- minutes, the teams change sides again and -5- more minutes will be played as long as the golden goal is scored.

2.4 League positioning
The place of teams in the league table is decided by the following factors:

Win: 3 points
Draw: 1 point
Loss: 0 points

In case of the same amount of points, the goal difference is decisive.
In case of tied goal difference, the amount of scored goals is decisive.
In case of the same amount of scored goals, the direct compatison (head-to-head) is decisive.

The top4 ranked teams are qualified for the Haxball Champions League, unless the FRH admin team announces another HCL qualification system on the website.

2.5 Defwin/Defloss
A "defwin" means a 3-0 victory.
A "defloss" means a 0-3 loss.

If a match is judged as a defwin/defloss, the scored goals are deleted and the result gets changed into a 3-0 respective 0-3. All events (goals, assists, clean sheets) remain untouched. The FRH admin team reserves all rights to change any result to a defwin/defloss, if a reasonable rule violation is existent.

2.6 Wildcards
In order to postpone a match (change the default match date or/and time), a so called wildcard has to be used. Wildcarding a match practically means that a listed player of a team creates a thread in the relevant forum section, where the opposing team is informed about the postponement.

Amount of wildcards per season: 6

2.6.1 A wildcard is only valid, if its not posted later than 19:00 CET on the relevant matchday.

2.6.2 If a wildcard is posted later than 19:00 CET, the postponing team will be forced to play at the default match time. If the postponing team shows up with less than -4- players, the opposing team will win by 3-0 defwin.

2.6.3 If a wildcard has been posted after the deadline, the opposing team is allowed to accept this invalid wildcard and abstain from forcing them to play or taking a 3-0 defwin.

2.6.4 All wildcarded matches have to be played by -7- days (played and reported until 23:59 CET on the 7th day), if no other explicit deadline is given.

2.6.5 All wildcarded matches of the last matchday must be played and reported until the official season ending (check the schedule).

2.6.6 In case of a team which does not participate actively in finding a new date to play the match, the admins will decide about a possible 0-3 defloss.

2.6.7 A new date and time is only valid, if it has been suggested in the forum and is confirmed by the opponent. This confirmation has to be done not later than -2- hours before the new date, else this arrangement is not valid. However it is of course possible to play a game spontaneously and agree to a date in less than -2- hours before the new arrangement, if both teams accept it.

2.6.8 Once a new date and time is arranged properly, no team is allowed to cancel this appointment without the opponents agreement.

2.7 Transfers

Player transfers have to be announced in the relevant line-up-thread by creating a new post.

Please make use of the following pattern:

Addition: + player name (nationality)
Removal: - player name

2.7.1 All signed players have to confirm their participation by creating a new post in the relevant line-up thread, before they are allowed to play official matches. This applies for players of the initial line-up as well as for additionally signed players.

2.7.2 A new player needs to be added to the line-up at least -1- hour before an official match, if a team wants to make use of him in that match. If that does not happen, the player is not allowed to play the relevant match. Decisive in this case is the time of the post where the captain or co-captain signed the player in the line-up thread. The player's forum confirmation can be done later, but still has to apply before the kick-off.

2.7.3 The opposing team is allowed to accept player additions that were made later than -1- hour before the upcoming match. It is required that the allowance is visible for the admin team (e.g. confirmation in the replay). The forum confirmation in the line-up thread before the kick-off is still obligated, otherwise the player is not allowed to play.

2.7.4 A player who has never been listed in any teams line-up in the running season, is a so called free agent and can be signed at any time, if the line-up rule and other transfer restrictions allow the transfer.

2.7.5 All listed players, who leave* their teams line-up after 19:00 CET on the 1st matchday of the season, are blocked until the start of the transfer window. It does not matter, if the relevant player actually played for his old team or not.

* leave is supposed to be the collective term for both removal processes cut by captain/co-captain and player's self-removal.

2.7.6 A player who was part of a line-up after 19:00 CET on the 1st matchday and signed during the transfer window again for a team, is only allowed to play 2nd leg matches of the running season. "2nd leg" describes all matches that are by default determined after the end of the transfer window. This rule applies also for any wildcarded match, which was determined by default in the 1st leg.

2.7.7 The transfer window begins at 19:59 CET on the 13th matchday and expires at 19:00 CET on the 14th matchday. Players who leave their team after this transfer window are not allowed to join any team anymore in the running season.

2.8 Disbanding of a team
If a team is disbanded during the running season, all of their matches are judged as 0-3 deflosses. In case a disbanded team finished all their 1st leg matches, only the matches from the 2nd leg of the season will be judged as 0-3 deflosses. This rule also applies for matches, which have already been played. The moment of the disbanding does not have any influence on this rule.

All players of a disbanded team become instantly free agents.

3. Match Proceedings

3.1 All players have to use the exact name ingame which is listed in the line-up thread.

3.2 If a player appears and plays with a completely different nickname, the match can be judged as a 0-3 defloss for his/her team, if the FRH admin team can not identify this player.

3.3 If a team is making use of players who are not allowed to play, the match is being judged as a 0-3 defloss. Only players who are listed in the offical line-up, or have been signed properly according to the line-up and transfer rules and additionally confirmed their participation before the kick-off, are allowed to play official matches.

3.4 If a team has less than -4- players, who are ready -15- minutes after the default match time (or -15- minutes after the agreed time of a wildcarded match), the match is being judged as a 0-3 Defloss, if the opposing team does not grant any further delay.

3.5 Room leave
If a team leaves the haxball room during a match while they are in lead, the result is judged as a 3-0 defwin for the opposing team.
If a team leaves the haxball room during a match while they are losing, the result at the moment of the leave counts.
If a team leaves the haxball room during a match while the match is tied, the result is judged as a 3-0 defwin for the opposing team.

3.6 Substitutions
Both teams are only allowed to substitute players at half time or after a goal. There is no limit for substitutions.

3.6.1 If a player is leaving or forced to stop playing, he has to notify the other players and the team is allowed to pause the match. If the player is not able to finish the running half, his team needs the approval of the opponent team for a substitution, otherwise the affected team has to continue in 3vs4 mode.

3.7 3-def rule
FRH is using the so called 3-def rule. A detailled description of the 3-def rule can be found here (click).

In case of a violation of the 3-def rule, the FRH admin team will decide whether to judge the match as a 0-3 defloss against the violating team.

3.8 Host
All matches should be played completely on neutral hosts. The teams should organise and test neutral hosts on their own. If two teams do not find an agreement, the FRH admin team will try to provide a neutral host. If its still impossible to find a proper neutral host, both teams are allowed to play one half on their own host.

3.8.1 Every player is responsible for his own performance during a match and should care for a trouble-free match procedure. For example its considered as unsportsmanlike behavior to start a match with a lagging player, who might demand pauses or fairplay all the time.

3.8.2 A match can only be cancelled, if the majority of all players in the room has performance problems. In such a case, the teams are allowed to stop the match and move to another host or even reschedule the match, if no replacement host is available. If both teams agree, the match can be fully restarted, otherwise only the remaining time will be played on the new host.

3.9 Result and replays
Every team is obliged to support the transmission of the result by recording every official match. For this the record function of should be used, as the outcoming *.hbr files count as evidence for the final result.

The *.hbr files should be uploaded on one of the known haxball replay uploading platforms. The outcoming link of the uploaded replay has to be reported to the relevant forum section, where all teams find detailled instructions about the result reporting procecdure.

3.9.1 Only a complete replay ensures the proper transmission of the final result. If the entire replay or important parts of the required match media is missing, the match is being judged as a 0-3 defloss for both teams.

3.9.2 If a match was streamed, the saved video on the stream page can be used as evidence for the final result. Even though we beg the players to always record the match, as once in a while the saving process of the stream service provider can fail.

3.9.3 The deadline for reporting a match is always 7 days after the default match time at 23:59 CET, if no other explicit deadline is given.

If a match is not reported properly within the deadline, the match will be counted as 0-3 defloss for both teams.

3.9.4 All results of the last matchday must be reported until the official season ending (check the schedule).

3.10 Overtime goals
All goals that are scored without a following kick-off do not count. A kick-off is necessary, else it is considered  as overtime goal and does not count.

3.11 Protesting
In case of rule violations it is possible to open an official protest. Leave a post in the result reporting thread of the relevant match, clarify why you want to protest against the final result and add the required evidence.

A protest has to be posted within -24- hours after the default match time (or agreed new match time, in case of a postponed match), else it will be rejected.

4. Unsportsmanlike Behavior

4.1 Misbehaviour
Before, during and after an official match all kind of unsportsmanlike behaviour is forbidden. That especially means insults, provocations, racism and lack of fairness. If an opposing team behaves in such way, the affected team is asked to mention that in the relevant result reporting thread by adding suitable evidence.

Furthermore you should instantly seek help from the FRH admin team  to eventually solve the issue. A reasonable and respectful contact with each other is very important in the League1. Therefore violations of this rule are being punished pretty consistent. The punishment is completely up to the FRH admin team and will be decided individually.

4.2 Forbidden assistances
All types of scripts like so called macro scripts are forbidden without any exception. If a player is caught using a macro script or any other forbidden assistance, he is being banned from FRH. All matches the player has played, will be judged as a 0-3 defloss to his team.

4.3 Faking
Impersonating a player, multi-accounting and all other kind of faking is not allowed and if caught doing so, the concerned player will be banned from League1.

5. Rule changes

The FRH admin team reserves the right to modify, add and remove rules at any time. Rule changes apply with immediate effect when they have been announced in the FRH forum.
